Today we’re excited to announce four new people to the Primal Challenge! Brian, Cord & the Daly sisters. Pictures below.
Brian is a good buddy from back in Ohio. As long as I’ve known Brian, he’s been athletic and into eating healthy. As he puts it, he’s “always been a very ‘plain’ eater…no cheese, toppings, etc. Turns out I am a bowl of cereal away from going Paleo most days.” He’s kicking off the first week of his Primal Challenge with a side goal: “[I’m] trying to go ‘boxed-free’ this week…nothing processed. Here we go!” In the picture below — taken on his honeymoon just a few weeks ago — Brian is out on Kauai Island climbing a tree. I’m jealous!
Cord is a fellow DC libertarian that I had the honor to attend an IHS Liberty Fund seminar with on Hayek. He’s always involved with exciting and often complex projects, typically juggling several balls at once, so I think its badass he’s found time to work a primal diet into his mix. Antonie and I plan to have Cord and his beautiful fiance (pictured together below) over soon for a nice primal dinner. He says that he’s been doing it for a week and “I already feel better than I’ve felt in months.”
Finally, we have Ashley and her sister Corin. I haven’t met Corin but I hear great things. Ashley worked with me at IJ and actually introduced me to Antonie. Ashley is an All-American swimmer that obviously let herself go after college. (Just kidding.) Now she’s into competitive ultimate frisbee and convincing her boyfriend about the benefits of going primal. In the picture below, Ashley is with Antonie and a man obviously upset about something — perhaps that he consumes portly quantities of sugar and grains??
Good luck everyone!! We hope to hear from you all soon.
