Harness the Power of the Stiffy Goats

Antonie, Isaac & I ran a 5k this Sunday.   Shira was our captain.  Larry our Chief Negotiator.  We were on Team Stiffy Goats, named in honor of these guys.   We harnessed the power of the stiffy goats and dominated.

Our whole team finished in the top half, and we had three in the top ten.   Antonie crushed all the women but one.   It was obviously just a small charity event — just under 200 runners — but still, the Stiffy Goats dominated all the other teams.

I was hoping to break 20 min and did.  We ran primal:  I was barefoot, Antonie wore her pink Vibram Five Finger Bikilas and Isaac had his fancy minimalist shoes.  The course may have been a bit short, but it also had a big hill, sharp turns, and bad signage.   So we’ll take it!   Here’s a screen shot from the race results:
